Here at Accounts Navigator, we are constantly looking out for grants/funds that could help our clients recover from the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Arts Council England, awarding funds from the National Lottery, have outlined a fund for Developing Your Creative Practice, otherwise known as the DYCP. Individuals can apply for £2,000 to £10,000 to take a dedicated period of time to focus on their own cultural and creative development e.g.: period of research, time to create new work, travel, training, developing future ideas, networking etc.
The DYCP supports activity focused on:
- Music
- Theatre
- Dance
- Visual Arts
- Literature
- Libraries
- Combined arts
- Museum practice
Anyone who applies to DYCP needs to:
- Apply as an individual or small group of practitioners
- Be based within England
- Have a UK bank account in the exact name they’re applying in
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have one years’ creative practice experience outside a formal education context
Round 11 of the DYCP opens for applications on 05 August 2021, closes on 02 September 2021 and have decisions announced by 09 November 2021.
To be able to apply for the grant, you will need to register on Grantium, which requires approval. After this, you will be able to begin your eligibility questionnaire as well as your application.
